Imported democracy?

Yum.

Christmas presents are great. Especially if you're semi-important to the world.

About a week ago, my dad got lots of Christmas presents via his work, from all these ambassadors and stuff. [The Indian guy was nicest, a giant bottle of Absolut Vodka and an even bigger bottle of Scottish whisky. I wonder how much Balkie got. Imagine him tipsy.] The Korean dude gave mi padre 5kg of Korean Pears. Google search. They're very tasty, but weird at the same time. They look like apples, but have a texture that is similar to that of a watermelon.

According to Bas they first tasted of dictatorship and oppression. Five minutes later, after some input from our dad, we as a family decided that they taste of democracy and freedom despite Bas' first impression.

My mom just brought me a piece of one these pears, as if I was ruling this place and she was a slave.

Oh can you smell the irony?

If you haven't noticed, I'm trying to quit making posts about what I've done all day. They're starting to get rather redundant after 6 or 7 months of blogging. I may do a weekly 'What have I done?-post, we'll see. Depends on whether anyone is interested --don't really think they are.
