confusion doesn't make me very happy.

Tickling is fun, Tickle is dumb.

It's vacation again, and besides working my ass off for upcoming tests (ahh French! ahh history! ahh bio!) and tidying up, I try to have a little fun.

This morning I received an email from Teh Monkehy about an online site called Tickle. To those that have ever felt the need to prove that they are highly intellectual, this site may sound familiar. Yep, Tickle is that site with loads of adverts all over the net about IQ tests. Anywho, I went over to the Tickle site and took a couple tests.

I'm an 'insightful linguist' with an IQ score of 136, which seems a little high. I wish I had other scores to compare myself with but, unfortunately, Teh Monkehy is unwilling to look up her score. Sounds like a classic example of someone who's a little insecure about their intellect. ;-)
I'm also a 'mischievous brat,' and at the same time a 'contemporary partner' which in short is someone who is "the kind of unique, well-rounded individual that others can admire."

It was after these three tests that I decided they were ridiculous. As if the colour that I associate with success could define what type of partner I would be. I honestly wish some people could look past the PhD-Certificate some of these online tests have, and find out who they are by simply interacting with others and taking part in certain activities, rather than labelling themselves with whatever the computer screen blurts out.

Maybe it's because I'm into the whole individualism and not changing who you are for someone else-thing, that I get so frustrated by these type of internet tests. I don't know. Slightly bummed though that what I hoped would be fun, turned out to be disappointing.

I'm just interested in what my friends will say after reading this. I have one that's taken 18 tests and another one who's taken 146 of them. Sweet Jesus!

*Just read post*
My gawdz. This post was supposed to end so differently. Humorous, and all that. But it turned into some sort of subjective essay. Ah well. Guess I need better inspiration.
