confusion doesn't make me very happy.

Hair is a great blogging topic.

People that have seen me since Friday, know that I've cut my hair. People that have talked to me about it, know that I cut it myself. Partially.
The story for those who haven't heard it yet: I got home from the hairdresser's, didn't like what I saw (not after I'd brushed it and taken a shower). So, off I went to my parents' bathroom and grabbed the "hair scissors". I pretty much changed the whole fringe. The end result looks a lot more like my hair was before I went to the hairdresser's, and to be honest, I like it better this way.

Yesterday morning I got a wake-up call. The gods of the weather reminded me that this is May, and this is Holland. After 44 days of sun, it rained. And boy, did it rain. My supposedly waterproof coat - designed for skiing and snowboarding - was soaked when I got to school. I guess it isn't waterproof after all. My sweater had wet patches that looked like sweat patches which wasn't all that great. During the struggle with my water-saturated clothes, the first thing Nienke said to me was, "You hair looks funny." Gee, thanks a bunch.

We started talking about hair, and I told the How I Cut My Own Hair Story, to which Nienke said she also wanted to get her hair cut, but doesn't want to go to the hairdresser's. I spontaneously replied, "I'll cut it!" Funnily enough, Nienke agreed to it. Without me needing to bribe her, physically abuse her or apply peer pressure to her.

This can only mean two things. Either 1; Nienke is too easy. Or 2; I impressed Nienke with my scissor skills. I'm pretty sure it's the first, but I'm secretly hoping it was the second.

Anyzwayz. Friday's going to be the big day. I have every intention of making it look good, especially because we're going to try and get Nienke to score at the MAYMUN party. I'm pretty sure it's not going to look horrific, but that's because I'm not going to use any tricky techniques. Besides, Stephanie (and maybe the other chicks staying over?) are going to be there to give me tips and provide me with moral support.

Stephanie and I have a few tricks up our sleeve, but for obvious reasons I'm not going to put them up here. They're secret for a reason. All I can say is that this weekend... is gonna be one hell of a weekend. ;-)

...I hope. Dream. Wish. Pray for.
