Update. At last.

I feel guilty for not updating. It's been more than two weeks now. Might be a new record. I've just been busy. School's over, and I'm busy?! Shocking.

OK, so here's why. The last day of our testweek (Tuesday 3-07) I stayed in Wassenaar - eating Ben&Jerry's and Lay's whilst watching movies - and then crashed the end-of-year party for the 1st and 2nd form. The next day, Wednesday, I went to school to pick up my grades and stayed in Wassenaar again. We were then supposed to have our own end-of-year party, but because pretty much our whole school went to the Haganum party the RLW one got cancelled. We ended up swimming at someone's house. On Thursday there were three main activities: sleeping, baking pancakes and eating. On Friday I had to get up early because I had to return some of my schoolbooks, after which we left to Terschelling. Unfortunately without Pfeiffer-woman.

Friday night, Saturday, Sunday and Monday was spent on a rather boring island. Thank god for the SPAR that provided us with food and alcohol -the two things any 16-year-old would need to prevent dying of boredom. We drew two main conclusions after this trip.
1. The male selection of Terschelling isn't all that hot. Randstad pwns them by far.
2. Boats suck.

After Terschelling I got my braces removed (Tuesday) and on Wednesday we went to the Efteling after I had a short talk at school with "important people." We pretty much discussed my grades and subjects. Next year I'll pretty much only be doing humanities whereas this year I did pretty much only the scientific subjects. Anywho, the Efteling was great fun and it gave my Peter Pan complex a good boost.

I slept on next Thursday.

Friday the 13th. Went to school to get my report card, then off to Pfeiffer woman to watch a movie and eat more Ben&Jerry's. In the evening we went to the Gym Class Heroes, who started playing at 22:30 making me rather grumpy. We spent all night on the balconies because I was dead exhausted and I think Pfeiffer woman was too.

Saturday. Slept, then centrum with Mom. I got new shoes and we bought two new suitcases. We had to walk home with our bikes and those suitcases because Dad couldn't pick them up with the car. Argh. It was worse than cycling on the tandem with two suitcases.

Yesterday I worked on this video. I spent ages trying to get the music sorted, and I'm still not happy with the way it sounds. But it'll do -too lazy to spend more time on it.


So to end this post, thanks guys for a great year. I think it's safe to say that this year has been the best year at the Rijnlands so far and despite my change of subjects I'm really looking forward to next year. :-)

OK enough of the smooshy stuff. I can't wait to get back to writing some good ol' sarcastic and pessimistic posts.
