confusion doesn't make me very happy.

There's one good thing about snow, it makes your lawn look as nice as your neighbour's.

Some people love snow (so do I, as long as it's my free will to go outside... snowballfights!). But most of the time, I just find it to be an unneccessary freezing of water.

1) For it to snow, it must be cold. Cold (fingers) = horrible bike rides. It's a simple equation, I don't think I need to explain anymore.

2) Snow comes hand in hand with ice. Ice = horrible bike rides. I spent about 40 minutes cycling to school this morning... not fun. Thank god I didn't fall like last year... Last year I was wearing white pants and slipped on the ice with my bike on top of me. I ended up with brown pants and a giant bruise.

3) Stupid Gemeente people that don't care about the poor souls in Wassenaar and the Hague that need to cycle along the Rijksstraatweg each morning = no salt/other substance sprinkled on the bike path = even slippier bike path = horrible bike rides.

4) Snow turns into wet slush and eventually a great big puddle. Wet slush = horrible bike rides. I got splashed on again this afternoon.

Recognise the pic from my LiveJournal? The grey lines are new, I added them this afternoon. They're my earphones :)

What it comes down to is that my journey to school this morning sucked.

Whether the weather be hot,

or whether the weather be not,

we'll weather the weather, whatever the weather,

Whether we like it or not!

Any snow experts in the house? If so, please give me an answer to a question that I was pondering upon this morning - where does the white go when snow melts?

Well, at leat you got to go home insanely early. I'm stuck in a tussenuur, waiting for my two gym periods that are still to come. Yes, that's right. A blokuur, EIGHT AND NINTH period. Me = dead.

Where the white goes? Nowhere, you can better ask where it comes from. Water's still colourless right? The white of the snow melts away. Guess you really were dying to know:P
